Employee Benefits Plan Overview
This brochure is a summary of the
current benefits available to ATI employees. It is not intended to be the
legal representation of these benefits. Employees are provided with the legal
representation upon full time employment, through the summary plan description (SPD).
ATI believes its most valuable
resources are its employees. The knowledge of our staff’s technical skills and professionalism
are largely responsible for getting the company to where it is today; we have created
a work environment with opportunities for professional development, personal growth,
and creativity. In addition, ATI’s competitive and comprehensive benefits
make our corporation an excellent choice.
Full-time employees enjoy a very
aggressive and competitive benefits package, including Group Medical coverage, Group
Dental coverage, a vision discount program, Group Life, Long and Short Term Disability
insurance and a 401(K) Plan. To be eligible for these benefits the employee
must be a full-time permanent employee working more than 30 hours per workweek with
the exception of the 401(k) plan. All permanent employees are eligible to participate
in ATI’s 401(k) plan immediately.
MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION INSURANCE
ATI offers two options of medical
coverage to allow full-time employees to choose the plan that meets their needs.
Coverage is effective on the 1st day of the month following the employee's date
of hire.
Dental Coverage:
There is a $50.00 deductible
for individual, $150.00 for family, which applies only to General and Major Services.
General Services (Including X-rays) are paid at 75% of the allowable charge.
Major Services are paid at 50% of the allowable charge. Preventive coverage
(i.e. diagnostic, oral exams) does not include a deductible and is paid at 100%
of the usual and customary charge.
The maximum benefit per calendar
year is $1,500.
TERM LIFE INSURANCE
ATI provides full-time employees
with Group Term Life Insurance coverage equal to two times their salary to a maximum
of $300,000.
Coverage is effective on the 1st
day of the month following the date of hire and thereafter is based upon the employee's
annual salary.
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE
(PAI)
ATI provides full-time employees
with Personal Accident Insurance equal to two times their salary to a maximum of
$300,000. Personal Accident provides life coverage in the amount equal to two times
salary to a maximum of $300,000 if death occurs accidentally rather than by natural
causes.
Coverage is effective on the 1st
day of the month following the date of hire and thereafter is based upon the employee's
annual salary.
SHORT TERM DISABILITY (STD)
ATI provides Short Term Disability
insurance coverage at no cost to employees effective on the 1st of the month following
30 days of full-time employment.
Short Term Disability protects the
employee from loss of income during periods of hospitalization or physician-certified
disability, which exceeds 14 calendar days.
LONG TERM DISABILITY (LTD)
ATI provides Long Term Disability
insurance coverage at no cost to employees effective on the 1st of the month following
30 days of full-time employment.
The long-term disability benefit
provides the fully disabled employee with 60% (taxable) income 90 days after incurring
the disability.
TUITION REIMBURSEMENT
To increase job-related skills, ATI
encourages employees to take advantage of education opportunities. Tuition
reimbursement will be considered on a course-by-course basis related to the area
of study or degree requirement.
Employees sign an agreement to repay
the reimbursement in the event they leave ATI within one year from the date of the
reimbursement.
VACATION LEAVE
Employees accrue vacation at the

Vacation is accrued on a pay period
basis beginning with the first pay period of employment. The maximum amount
of vacation leave an employee may accrue and carry forward from one year to the
next is 200 hours. When an employee leaves ATI, any remaining vacation will
be paid out with the last paycheck.
SICK LEAVE
Employees earn 40 hours per year
in sick leave. The maximum amount of sick leave an employee may accrue and
carry forward from one year to the next is 120 hours. Sick leave is not paid out
upon termination of employment.

ATI offers full time employees ten
(10) paid holidays per year. These holidays are as follows:

RETIREMENT
ATI offers all employees an opportunity
to participate in the ATI Employees 401K Plan through payroll deductions.
Employees may contribute from 1% to 100% of their salary on a pretax basis.
The Automation Technologies Inc.
401k Plan allows for employees to take out a loan for up to 50% of their vested
account balance.
